Overview
Clinically proven treatment for fading age spots and pigmentation on the face to reveal clearer, more youthful skin Brown skin blemishes and freckles occur when excessive pigmentation has resulted from the influence of sun exposure, hormonal variation or skin type. Melanocytes in the epidermis produce melanin as a natural defence to protect skin against UV rays.
However, repeated or heavy exposure to UV-B rays can make the melanocytes lose their ability to distribute pigmentation evenly, so that dark spots appear on the skin, commonly referred to as age spots.
Superfade Face Cream contains a powerful pigmentation fading agent to assist in fading brown skin blemishes and freckles. Also contains exfoliant and sunscreen.
Proven to fade pigmentation contains the same exclusive, powerful fading agent as Superfade Original to stop the formation of excess pigment, as well as exfoliant and sunscreen. Fades age spots, freckles and pigmentation on the face in 6-8 weeks. Non greasy and can be used under makeup. Superfade Face Cream works by disabling melanocytes, which produce melanin and can cause unwanted pigmentation. The active ingredient is an effective inhibitor of melanin production.

Warnings
If a pigmented spot or mole has recently become darker , changed colour, becomes itchy or bleeds do not use this product on it and see your doctor immediately. Do not use on children. Do not use near eyes. Dark skinned people should avoid long term and repeated use to lighten overall colour as this could result in hyper pigmentation of the skin.
Mild irritation may occur, stop use if it becomes severe. If fading is not evident within 3 months, seek doctor’s advice. Avoid exposure to the sun. This product may darken on exposure to air, but this does not affect its efficacy. This product contains sulphites.

Ingredients
HYDROQUINONE
• Features: Blocks the enzyme tyrosinase in the melanocyte cells in the skin, so preventing them from converting the amino acid tyrosine into the pigment melanin.
• Benefits: Stops further pigmentation being produced in the skin’s tissue.
SALICYLIC ACID
• Features: A potent Beta Hydroxy Acid exfoliating agent able to significantly increase the rate of skin cell turnover, so decreasing the amount of pigmented skin layers and thus the intensity of the colour. May also increase the penetration of hydroquinone to reach the melanocytes.
• Benefits: Reduces more heavily pigmented skin cells and aids in the correction process.
PADIMATE
• Features: A UVB sunscreen able to block the burning UV sun rays responsible for triggering increased melanin production.
• Benefits: Helps prevent further sun damage which can cause pigmentation.

Directions
Before commencing treatment test for allergic reaction over 24 hours with small patch of cream on inside of upper arm.
Rub sparingly into affected areas twice during the day and once at night, 30 minutes prior to bed. After desired fading is obtained use only as necessary to maintain results. Superfade Face Cream is non greasy and can be worn under make-up.
